Strengthens Security:
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an extra layer of security used to ensure that
people trying to access an account are who they say they are.
It requires two forms of identification:
Something you know: This is typically a password or PIN.
Something you have: This could be a temporary code sent to your phone via SMS,
generated by an app like Google Authenticator, or even a physical security key.
The idea behind 2FA is that even if someone learns your password, they would still
need the second factor (like a code from your phone) to access your account.
